F45 Training Becomes First Global Functional Fitness Franchise Offering Group Activities on Strava

F45 Training Partners with Strava to Create a Global Fitness Community

F45 Training, a leading global fitness franchise, has partnered with Strava, the premier digital platform for athletes, to bring a new level of connection and motivation to its members. This collaboration makes F45 the first global functional fitness franchise to showcase grouped activities on Strava, where more than 125 million athletes worldwide engage, share, and inspire each other.

The integration allows F45 members to seamlessly connect their workouts to Strava, leveraging data from F45’s LionHeart wearable technology. Members can track class type, heart rate, calories burned, and workout location, with activities automatically uploaded and grouped on Strava. This feature enables members to benchmark their progress against others who completed the same workout, fostering a sense of friendly competition and camaraderie.

F45 members can also join the F45 Training Club on Strava, where they can connect with fellow fitness enthusiasts, share their fitness journeys, and appear on a global leaderboard showcasing top performers. According to Tom Dowd, CEO of F45 Training, this partnership “deepens the connections our members and Strava users have to their fitness and wellness journeys, all as a global, like-minded community.”

Strava’s Vice President of Connected Partnerships, Mateo A. Ortega, highlighted the collaboration’s focus on building active communities worldwide: “We’re excited to open up new opportunities for athletes to connect, support each other, and share their fitness journeys with Strava’s global community.”
