My 3 Year F45 – Roscoe Village review
Three years ago today, inspired by the Mark Wahlberg docu-series, Wahl Street, my wife signed up her under-fit husband for the F45 – Roscoe Village 10 class trial. She turned to me and said, “You’re taking the 9am, tomorrow!”
THE CLASSES ARE DIFFICULT AND SHORT!
I love the F45 Hiit/Tabata workouts for strength, cardio, and functional movement. After intro demonstrations, it’s 40 minutes straight with a variety of exercises. No matter what mood or energy level, I can make it work.
IT’S ADDICTIVE!
I guess I never realized that I enjoyed exercise as much as I do now. I felt guilty early on in my membership attending classes daily. It was “free time” I used to dedicate to twitter rage and endless nothings. The format, variety, and convenience made sense. The urge was unrelenting.
I LOVE THE F45-ROSCOE VILLAGE COMMUNITY!
The studio isn’t the newest (We have new equipment and the studio getting an overhaul this summer) or the biggest, but it’s in the middle of my community. That matters. I’ve made dozens of friends and supportive acquaintances. Our lives have converged over our mutual fitness goals and obsessions, and the resulting community we now occupy. Most of us live nearby. We share traffic and parking stories, catch up on kids and friends, share restaurants recommendations, push each other to our goals, celebrate our successes, and playfully tease each other competitively.
THE STUDIO MANAGER IS THE BEST
Sharon cares about clients and their goals on a personal level. The impression she made on me early on, and the support and motivation she has given since, are the foundation of my review. She believes in the F45 program, and exudes that passion in her work. She’s the first to laugh, first to correct my form, first to push, and first to celebrate. She seeks out the same qualities in her staff. After three years, my wife, who is also a member and shares my views, and I… can’t imagine our lives without Sharon in it. She makes the experience feel like family. I told a friend, “If Sharon opened a breakfast restaurant, I’d eat pancakes twice a day.❤️”If you know, you know.
